Altus innovations staff are extremely experienced in supply chain management, and have been contracted to provide assistance to numerous clients on projects worldwide. A central database of approved suppliers and sub-contractors is maintained and through the use of regular auditing in line with our quality management system ensures that the services and equipment which Altus procure for their clients is of an extremely high standard both technically and commercially. We can provide a full range of services in this field, from procuring one-off items for obsolescent equipment to controlling tendering, purchasing, procurement and delivery of full power stations.

Altus staff were contracted to supervise and project manage the electrical installation for a refit of an RFA tanker. To undertake this project, a detailed MTO required to be lifted from the project specifications, and in conjunction with the cardinal date plan, a delivery schedule and requisitioning plan was produced. From this, approved suppliers were invited to tender for the appropriate elements of the project. Deliveries were tracked in accordance with the programme and final material issue was controlled from a central store to ensure complete project material co-ordination throughout.
