project
An additional wellhead slot was installed for the BP Andrew platform in the UK North Sea. Altus were subcontracted by the subsea equipment manufacturer to produce the drawings for the wellhead workover equipment and associated hydraulic control system modifications.
This project entailed the design and modification of the updated hydraulic arrangement, piping and instrumentation diagrams for the hydraulic power unit, gauge and solenoid panel and wellhead workover panel, along with the main wellhead control panel.
From these arrangements and piping schematics, the manufacturer could then install the required items of plant on the platform to suit the wellhead requirements.

Creation of new drawing packages to suit manufacturers requirements.
Use of a unique database driven part identification solution to ensure that the information requirements of the manufacturer were embedded witin the drawings, and could easily be interrogated.
Creation of a standard parts library such that follow-up contract work now requires minimal part searching, addressing and draughting time thus reducing time taken between design and final draughting.
Use of remote electronic drawing red line mark-up's such that time taken for modifications to drawings are measured in hours and not days, with all mark-ups being fully traceable and time/date stamped as required by our quality systems.
