Altus innovations continually assess and adjust it's own internal services, and it's services to clients to determine the optimum levels and to ensure that these levels are being achieved.
To this end our services, and our capabilities to deliver these services, are continually evolving and adapting in line with current industry best practices, new technology and client requirements.
To meet these ever changing needs, Altus innovations have developed unique solutions to certain processes within our field of operations. These solutions, although used for one application in particular, have been adapted and refined such that these can be used across the spectrum of engineering services for industries in general. Just two of these solutions are shown below:
electronic documentation mark-up and distribution
To minimise time taken from initial design drawing to agreed production drawing, Altus have incorporated a client red-line mark-up facility whereby any client can review and amend drawings as soon as they are produced, and this can be simultaneously achieved across separate sites and by any interested party.
This ensures that there are no delays during the drawing approval stage, and that all relevant parties can append any comments for instantaneous inclusion. All comments and mark-ups are operator attributable and time/date stamped to ensure full traceability in accordance with our quality standards.
parts library database
Due to advances in database connectivity, whenever a client specifies a part or module for inclusion within a project, our technical staff insert the relevant details of these parts into a master parts database. This information is held centrally and is available to all project staff, ensuring that the details of any part which has been used in a previous project are readily available for any similar future project. The parts are easily updated when parts manufacturers' information has altered.
This ensures that design and draughting time searching for correct parts and components is minimised, thus reducing expensive front end design and draughting labour costs on projects.
