A major aspect of Altus innovations' core workscopes is, and always has been design. Our design team carry a vast array of project experience in many differing fields to support and enhance all contract work. When a contract is placed with our company, not only do we design our own products, we also check and verify clients bought-in products to ensure suitability and compatibility with each other. Assumptions about design are checked thoroughly to ensure that all design parameters are verified prior to the inclusion of any product within a project.

Our design team use the latest and some of the most sophisticated tools avalable to the market today. In addition, software routines are developed in-house to assess and verify the most commonly undertaken design procedures within the company. Altus provide design services to mechanical, fabrication, piping, electrical, building services and structural divisions, covering a wide range of products from offshore semi-submersible drilling rigs to heating calculations for building services. Our design services are completely in-house and controlled internally, such that all aspects of a project design are strictly monitored and assessed to ensure that the original design parameters relating to the design are strictly adhered to. 3D structural modelling and calculations, piping flow, power fault level calculations, FMEA, legal witness and application of alternative energy models are among some of the previous design undertakings that Altus staff have undertaken.
